What's the best cell phone video editing app?

I just started using free version of Inshot and it throws a watermark on it and then seems to shrink the video size and puts a blurred background of the video behind the smaller picture. I know you can pay and have watermark removed but I'm uncomfortable with the actual video appearance relative to the appearance of then when I use upload my unedited videos from my cell.

Which is better: a video recorded on a 4k cell phone OR a video recorded on a point and shoot 1080p camera?

I specifically have a Pixel 3 cell phone which shoots 4k video on the back camera and a Canon Powershot SX730 HS (I bought this in 2016 and I know it shoots up to 1080p).
Looking for best overall video quality for someone who likes to produce simple diy and the like vlog-style content.

Top Comment: Stick with the phone and get filmicpro. That camera doesn't offer enough benefits for the trouble. If it were a Pixel 3 compared to a "better" camera, the decision would be more nuanced, but in this case you're likely not getting much more dynamic range from the Canon and the depth of field of that camera is likely pretty lacking. You will likely get a higher bitrate out of the camera, which would benefit post-coloring, but you're losing out on resolution, workflow and ease of use.
